We were approached to write a song for a movie about two Irish alcoholic dysfunctional brothers. The powers that be asked us, "can you you guys write a song that speaks to that theme?" Our answer was, "can we write one that doesn't?" This tune is what we sent 'em. They told us they wanted something mellower. We didn't get the gig......
